Hi,
My pending I-140 (filed an year ago...June 2006) was transferred from TSC to NSC on 09/05/2007, because my I-485 was filed with NSC. What date willl NSC use as received date to process my case...the date they received from TSC or the original receipt date?
Isn't it(140 filed at TSC almost an year ago) supposed to be certified by now?
TSC has been much faster at certifying 140s . Looks like USCIS is transferrring the 140s from TSC ... I can only pray for alll concurrent fileres that filed at TSC ...
140s at NSC are almost taking an year according to latest processing times.

My friend with july-07 filer (I-140 approved in Jan-07) lost H1 in Mar-08 and work on EAD and his company move to new address in May-09. USCIS site visit on Aug-09 to old address for H1-b (one year ext) for his co-worker. His co-worker got letter form USCIS to submit documents in Dec-09 for existance of the Company. Company inform everyone in Nov-09 that it is going out of business and shutting down operation in Dec-09.
What are the options my friend and his co-worker with (LC/I-140 approved form another company) have??
Your friend and his co-worker has to find another job in same/similar field as soon as possible and file AC21 with the new employer.

That was taken last October on the Island of Dominica at a place called Emerald Pool (believed to be the "fountain of youth" by the locals). The girl in the pic is my girlfriend's sister and didn't mind playing model for me. :)
I'll try to find a color shot of the pool and waterfall for you. Very nice place, buried in the rain forest.

I travelled on mine 3 months after it was issued ( delay in getting wife's visa). I was questioned at the airport about the delay in travel. Explained the delay and got entry. It may be possible that they may like to speak to your immediate boss (carry his office and cell numbers)

She could join from the day when the papers for transfer was mailed, this is as per AC21 law. She does not need to wait to receive the receipt from USCIS.

Has anyone tried extending NJ DL using H1b extension receipt ?
My H1b extension is in VSC and looks like it will take long long time to come back....DL is expiring in 30 days, with EAD my renewal would be for 6 months only as EAD also expires in Aug.
wonder if they will accept H1b receipt with employer letter ?
please share your NJ DL experience.

I had extended our licenses from wayne DMV this past march - but I had H1 and H4 approval notices. They did ask me for our approval notices specifically. We also handed our H1/H4 receipts, but she handed those back to us. I would think that they will need the approval notices just to figure out the validity of the new license they will issue.
I guess you can show them your EAD document and try to get a renewal for couple of months, I am not sure though.

Hi all
My I-485 is pending(EB-3,India)since 2007. I changed employer & successfully ported PD on new I-140 approval in EB-2 category. My PD is in Oct 2006 & I expect that to become current in the coming few months.
Now, I need to do Interfiling to link my pending I-485 to my new I-140.
(1) What all documents/wordings are required for interfiling? Can someone pls provide a checklist?
(2) Who should do Interfiling- Myself or "Attorney of File" on my original I-485 or my current attorney (who did my new I-140)?
(3) Can I send my Interfiling request to USCIS even before my PD becomes current?
